Martin de Thurah


Martin de Thurah (born April 29, 1974 in Copenhagen) film director, screenwriter, cinematographer and music video director.

De Thurah graduated from National Film School of Denmark in 2002.

The music video for Carpark North's "Human" won DMA ("Danish Grammy") for Danish Music Video of the Year in 2006. It also won Best Music Video at 2005 RESFEST, Los Angeles and a "Grand Prix" at the Festival International des Art du Clip in Provence. He was nominated for Robert Award (2006) in the category Best Special Effects/Lighting for Allegro. In 2008, he won the Robert Award for Best Animation for his short film Ung mand falder. At the 2008 Chicago International Children's Film Festival, his short film Vi der blev tilbage received the Children's Jury Award for a Live-Action Short Film or Video.


Michael Noer


Born in 1978, Denmark. Graduated from the National Film School of Denmark, 2003.

Award-winning director Michael Noer's first feature film R (2010), co-directed by Tobias Lindholm, and the documentaries Vesterbro (2007) and The Wild Hearts (2008) has marked him as one of the most talented directors of his time. R (2010) won top awards at Göteborg and Mumbai plus several accolades at the two top annual Danish awards ceremonies Bodil and Robert. For their work on the film, Noer and Lindholm received the Nordisk Film Award in 2010 and the Carl Th. Dreyer Award in 2011.

Noer's second feature film Northwest (2013) was selected for this year's Gothenburg International Film Festival's competition Dragon Awards and International Film Festival Rotterdam's new competition The Big Screen.

Jeannette Ehlers


Jeannette Ehlers (b. 1973) The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in 2006. Her work is in public collections from The Danish Arts Foundation and Nordea among others as well as in private Danish and international collections. Her works revolve around the Danish slave trade in colonial times as one of the main themes. Through digitally manipulated photographs and video installations, she puts The Triangular Slave Trade under the microscope. Some of her recent exhibitions include Caribbean: Crossroads of the World at Museo Del Barrio, New York, USA (2012), Total Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul, Korea (2012), Registered Nowhere, Cartel Gallery, London, UK (2011) and Kianga Ellis Projects, Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA (2011).
