We are proud to be participating in the Copenhagen Photo Festival 2017 where a montage of 60Seconds short films will be screened during the festival week.

These 100 films made the jury selection from 2006 to 2017.


7th June at 16:30-18:30 Catalogue Launch - a compilation of the jury panels, their shortlists and the winners through the years to commentate our 10th anniversary.

Come celebrate with us as we watch the film selection and hear the jury announce the winners for 2017.

Come to 60Seconds Festival 2017 Official Opening and celebrate with us. A week of ultra short films featuring a selection being screened in competition and hosted in the city of Copenhagen.

The One Minutes, Netherlands


We are delighted to invite you to a 60Seconds Festival event, with the participation of Kwangsoo SON, curator at SESIFF & SMIFF Korea.


After the screening will be happy to hold Q&A with the audience.


Kwangsoo SON has written various scripts including several horror screenplays like “Bloody Beach"(1999) and “Cinderella"(2007). He is a programmer at Seoul International Extreme-Short Image & Film festival and Seoul Metro international subway film festival. He taught theory of multimedia at Korea National University of Arts (2012). He wrote and directed “Live TV (2014)”. “Live Tv” was screened at Busan International Film Festival as Midnight Passion. His latest screenplay is “The Proxy Soldier”, 20th Century Fox International have wrapped up production and the film will premiere in Korea, June 2017.


SESIFF (Seoul international Extreme-Short Image &Film Festival) launched in 2009 as the first festival for extreme-short films in Asia, celebrates its 9th edition this year.

SMIFF (SeoulMetro International subway Film Festival) launched in 2000, cerebrates its 8th edition this year.

Their aim is to seek diverse possibilities through innovative visual culture and to offer opportunities to better enjoy it. Anyone willing to experience a new kind of visual culture is heartily welcomed at SESIFF & SMIFF, a young film festival that intends to communicate with the audience through innovative imaginations.


The One Minutes is a global network devoted to moving image. Since 1998, The One Minutes has produced and distributed more than 17,000 video works by artists from more than 120 countries.

Every month, The One Minutes Foundation puts out a new series of 60-second films that investigate how we perceive and engage with moving image. Museums and cultural organisations around the world subscribe to the series.



We are proud to announce our collaboration with Eva Koch, Vladimir Tomic and Annette K. Olesen who will comprise the jury for the festival's 10th anniversary. The panel will select the 10 best films to be screened during the festival week along with the winner of the Jury Award of 15,000 Danish Krone.

Voting for the Audience Award of 8,000 Danish Krone will open online on 20th February.

The ultra-short story with its format of one minute without sound, opens up a dialogue with the viewer and gives artists the opportunity to show films in public spaces where both the locals and the city’s visitors get busy with the business of living and exploring. 60Seconds Festival experiments with manifold possibilities for urban projections during the dark winter months - embraced and enhanced by the vibrant city of Copenhagen.
